Delete your data

You can delete your data yourself at any time. Here’s how, and what happens when you do.

Last updated 12 October 2026

Delete everything

  1. Open Postfig on your Mac or in your browser.
  2. Click your workspace name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  3. Choose Delete account… and confirm.

This permanently deletes your posts, photos and videos, business details, connected social accounts and their access tokens, security records and your sign-in. It happens immediately on our live systems; copies in encrypted backups are gone within 30 days.

Disconnect one account

In Channels, open the account’s menu and choose Disconnect. We delete that account’s access tokens straight away and remove it from posts that haven’t gone out yet. Posts that were already published stay on the platform; delete them there if you want them gone.

Remove Postfig from a platform’s settings

You can also revoke our access from the platform itself. When you do, we stop using the account and delete the data we received from it.

  • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove Postfig.
  • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → remove Postfig.
  • Threads: Settings → Account → Website permissions → remove Postfig.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services → remove Postfig.
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → remove Postfig.
  • YouTube / Google: Google account permissions → remove Postfig.

Ask us to do it

Email privacy@postfig.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my data”. We’ll confirm, delete everything and email you a confirmation, within 30 days at most.

Requests from Meta

If you remove Postfig from your Facebook or Instagram settings, Meta notifies us and we delete the data we received from Meta for your account. You can ask us at privacy@postfig.app for the status of any deletion request.
