Terms of service

1. Using Postfig

Postfig lets you plan posts and publish them to social media accounts you connect. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you use Postfig for a business, you confirm you’re authorised to accept these terms for it. You must be at least 16.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in methods secure and tell us at security@postfig.app if you think your account has been compromised. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Connected accounts and platform rules

When you connect a social account, you authorise Postfig to publish on your behalf the posts you create or schedule. You must have the right to use each account you connect. Each platform’s own terms continue to apply to your use of it, including theInstagram Terms of Use,Meta Terms, Threads Terms,LinkedIn User Agreement,TikTok Terms of Service and theYouTube Terms of Service.

Platforms decide what they accept, set their own limits, and can change or withdraw their services. We’ll tell you when a platform rejects a post, but we can’t guarantee that a platform will publish it.

4. Your content

You own the content you add to Postfig. You give us a limited licence to store, process, preview and publish it, only to provide the service to you. You’re responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to publish it.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Postfig to:

• break the law or any platform’s rules, including rules on spam, impersonation and inauthentic behaviour;
• publish content that infringes others’ rights, or that is unlawful, deceptive or harmful;
• access accounts or data you’re not authorised to use;
• probe, disrupt or overload the service, or try to get around its security or limits.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

6. Plans and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; your plan continues to the end of the period you paid for. Prices and taxes are shown before you pay. Our payment provider handles checkout and invoices. If you’re not happy after your first payment, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund it in full. Other payments aren’t refundable, except where the law says otherwise.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Postfig available and to publish posts at the time you choose, but the service is provided “as is” and may occasionally be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove something important to a paid plan, we’ll give you notice.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may end or suspend the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. When an account is deleted, we delete its data as described in our privacy policy.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of the social platforms, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We’ll give you notice of significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use Postfig after that means you accept them.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without affecting rights you have under the laws where you live.
